In today's my last Intercultural Communication Skills, we used whole time by playing a game. It was quite a lot of fun. We were divited in 2 groups and each of them had to follow very specific rule. For example, my group's, Alphanian's, culture was very patriarchic, male-oriented. Also we were "touching" people, it means that we touch the people who we greet on. The others followed the other rule such as they have their own language. We exchanged 2 people each other and tried to understand what was going on and what kind of rule, culture in this case, they followed.
Now then time has come and I have to write some journals. BUT unfortunately, the deadlines of them are soon after the trip to Russia...I have to manage it anyway. Is it possible to finish writing up in this weekend? Let's see.
Even though I have such burdens, I went to gym. I met Ryo-san there and was told I can try ultimate right after workout. Of course I went with him. He told me it would be just practicing how to throw, because it was the very first time of ultimate. I even had not played frisby for a long time. Unbelievably after less than 1 hour, I was playing ultimate with other members. I couldn't throw and catch a disk naturally (who the hell can get used to it in 1 hour?) but it was really fun! More truely, I felt a bit angry for myself. It was not anly because I couldn't throw properly but I couldn't run as muchas I was able to. Maybe I could try the other day again.
